In Week 6 of the Last Words series, we reflect on Jesus’ final words from the cross: “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit” (Luke 23:44-48). This message reminds us that death isn’t something to fear but something that brings clarity, hope, and trust for those who follow Christ. Jesus’ peaceful surrender shows us that death puts life in perspective, is not the end, and is ultimately an act of trust in our Father’s hands. Because of the resurrection, we can live confidently, knowing our lives and futures are secure in God’s strong, sovereign, loving hands.
